When you use the GenoLens platform or contact us via the website, we may collect:

• Contact form: name, professional email, institution, sector, and message content.
• Platform account: email address, organisation name, usage data (analyses run, datasets uploaded).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected via server logs and analytics.
• Cookie data: session cookies required for authentication; analytics cookies only with your consent.

We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

• Contract performance — to deliver the GenoLens platform to you.
• Legitimate interest — to respond to your inquiries and improve our services.
• Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies (you can withdraw at any time).

Contact form data is retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction. Platform data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation, during which you may export your data. After this window, data is permanently deleted.

• Cloudflare (CAPTCHA and infrastructure) — for form protection and CDN services.
• Hosting providers — for platform infrastructure, under data processing agreements.
